Marcy and the Mysterious Button

Marcy and the Mysterious Button

Marcy found a button On the table by her juice. She said, “I wonder what this does…” Then pressed it—without a clue. The toaster started dancing, The fridge began to hum, Her backpack sprouted tiny legs And marched off just for fun. Her cereal bowl was barking, Her socks began to glow, Her goldfish sang an opera In a voice both deep and low. Marcy shrugged and pressed again— She thought it looked quite cute. Now everything is normal… Except Marcy’s playing flute.
