An Irish blessing

May the roads rise up to meet you, “this means you’re walking down a hill”, May the wind be always at your back, “unless the wind is still”. May the sunshine warm upon your face “unless it disappears, “Behind a cloud but not for long until it reappears”. May the rains fall softly on your fields and until we meet again, “Weather comes you’re all wet through; you’re in a storm force ten”. And until we meet again may God hold you in the hollow of his hand, “No fall will harm you, and on your feet you will gently land”.
