The task of entertaining friends while they stay for a time, can be exhausting but rewarding. When people come to spend some time with you, There are certain protocols, that you need to do. Vaping in the house is bard and is considered a taboo, So is walking in the buff at night, whilst visiting the loo. No sex at night till they have gone, a squeaky bed, they might just wake, And farting inside the house while not alone, that is a big mistake. Constant cleaning of the house, is a constant chore, The endless cups of tea from a teapot that you pore. Making conversation to while away the hours, Queuing for the bathroom and waiting for the shower. Peeing against the porcelain, will save embarrassment, As peeing in the water, creates a sound that sound proofing won’t prevent. Snoring friends next door can keep you wide awake, But I do the same, so think again and don’t make that mistake. Handbags in the hallway and shoes that come in pears, Someone else’s laundry draped over the banister by the stairs. But the extra effort is worth it for an invitation they will extend, So, you do the same at their house and spend time with a special friend.
