100 years from now
A hundred years from now my name may fade But ink I left will never truly age I wrote these lines not only born of pain But so my breath would travel time again These words are more than sorrow set to rhyme They are the footsteps of my borrowed time A map of nights when hope refused to die A man who lived beneath a restless sky And when a stranger turns these pages slow They’ll feel the fire I carried long ago For though the world moves on and I am gone My words will live on forever undone...
