INK ON MY FINGERTIPS

CARRYING A LOVE THAT COULD NOT SAY

Ink on my fingertips at midnight The room is still but I am not Some memories refuse to fade So I write until they breathe I did not plan to live this way Carrying love that could not stay Each page holds what I lost Each word pays the cost Morning finds my hands stained Not just with ink but with ache I write because I must Or drown in what remains
